I gotta say, staying at City Hostel was worth every penny! The room was so comfortable and had everything I needed, including a bathroom and lockers. The location was perfect, right in the center near all the shops, cafes, and parks. Plus, the staff were friendly and super helpful.
The breakfast menu could use a bit more variety.

I always come back to this hostel for my stay. The staff were helpful with restaurant suggestions when I first stayed. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, car park, cookware, air conditioning, laundry. Perfect for my weekend getaway.

The hostel had a 24-hour front desk, free WiFi, and a shared lounge. Breakfast was decent but nothing extraordinary. The only downside was that I couldn't bring my beloved pet poodle along. Such a shame!

Value for money was great, with a spacious and clean room. The location was convenient, and the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay.
The breakfast experience could have been better - the options were limited and the quality of the food was not up to par.

I recently stayed at City Hostel for a few days while visiting. The hostel was clean, well-equipped, and had a unique character. I appreciated all the small details they thought of, such as number coded wardrobes and ample sockets in the rooms. The staff was professional and the location was convenient. It was a great choice for my stay in town, and I would definitely return if I visit again.
Would recommend this hotel.

The facilities in this hostel were excellent, with clean and well-maintained rooms that had thoughtful amenities such as individual lights and power sockets for each bed. The common spaces were also great, and the breakfast provided several delicious options. Additionally, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, going above and beyond to assist guests and provide excellent service.
One aspect that could be improved upon is the lack of curtains in the rooms, which allowed for unwanted light from the hallway to shine into the room throughout the night. Another downside was the absence of a kitchen, which limited guests' ability to prepare their own meals.

The location of the hostel is excellent, with a bus stop right in front and close proximity to parks and supermarkets. the twin room with private bathroom was comfortable, with soft beds and a great bathroom equipped with towels and shampoo. the breakfast provided was tasty, with the kitchen staff preparing a plate for each guest. the overall style of the hostel was modern and filled with art, creating a pleasant ambiance.
The walls between the rooms were quite thin, allowing us to hear everything our neighbors were doing.

I had a fantastic stay at City Hostel. The facilities were top-notch, with clean and well-maintained rooms. I loved the little details like individual power sockets and lockers. The common areas were also great, and the breakfast was delicious. What stood out the most was how helpful and kind the staff were. I got sick during my visit and they went above and beyond to take care of me. They even accompanied me to the hospital. I highly recommend City Hostel for anyone visiting Shymkent!

Great Location & Value
During my recent stay at City Hostel, I had a fantastic experience. The location simply couldn't be better, right in the center of the city with a bus stop conveniently located just outside the front door. The hostel itself is brand new and thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The cleanliness of the hostel was impeccable, and I appreciated the effort the staff put into keeping everything in top shape.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of curtains in the rooms and the absence of a kitchen, these didn't detract from the overall positive experience I had at City Hostel.
